Anna is a Hattiesburg native, who attended undergraduate at Mississippi State University and law school at the University of Mississippi.  While attending law school she was selected for the Moot Court Board, served as President of the Law Association of Women, and was elected as the Student Body Attorney General.  Following law school, Anna worked on Capitol Hill as part of a legislative team for a United States Congressman that focused on Mississippi interests.  She returned to her hometown to practice law and in the fall of 2018, opened Rush Law Firm with the plan to grow the premier multi-practice law firm of South Mississippi.

Anna continues her commitment to civic duty by serving as the lead prosecutor for the City of Hattiesburg, prosecutor for the City of Sumrall, and attorney for the City of Bassfield.

She is an active member of the Bar Association, currently serving on the executive board for the South Central Mississippi Bar Association, as President of the Hattiesburg Young Lawyers, and as Southeast District Director for the Mississippi Bar Young Lawyers Division.  She also serves on the Board of Directors for the Mississippi Center for Legal Service and Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Program, which aim to provide access to justice for Mississippians who might not otherwise afford legal services.

In the Hattiesburg community, Anna serves on the Hattiesburg Arts Council, Hattiesburg Downtown Association Board of Directors, and the Kids Hub Child Advocacy Board of Directors.

In her free time, Anna can be found traveling, constantly renovating her 100-year-old home, and cursing at her vegetable garden.
